Narragansett EMS offers its customers full service contract manufacturing with a unique focus. We concentrate internal resources on product development, engineering support, supply base management, unique subassembly fabrication, systems integration/box build and post-manufacturing support. We outsource standard custom component fabrication such as sheet metal and plastics as well as printed circuit board assembly. Our customers get the product realization expertise of a company with four decades of experience in development of high quality, high reliability products used in ruggedized environments combined with a manufacturing strategy which combines responsiveness with cost competitiveness.

Our full lifecycle support capabilities include:

• Product development and/or product redesign engineering support
• New product introduction support including quickturn prototyping
• Material procurement
• Board-level assembly
• Box build and systems integration
• In-circuit, functional and environmental testing
• Post-manufacturing support including: shipments to end customers, warranty repair depot and refurbishment.

Each project is managed by a dedicated program manager who is responsible for coordinating all aspects of product development and manufacturing. Product development and project transition are overseen by in-house engineering resources charged with ensuring optimized production both at the component and final assembly level.

Our facilities are situated on a 15-acre campus located in Slatersville, RI. The main facility is 85,000-square-feet and includes Class 100 and 10 clean rooms and modular manufacturing cells. Our manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 certified as well as ISO 14001:2004 compliant.
